SCBO is a not-for-profit, membership driven professional society. We are a registered charity, and your donation is tax deductible in Australia.

We welcome donations of any size.

The following are just a few ways that your support for SCBO and our members can make a difference:

• Support knowledge sharing across Oceania, by supporting the costs associated with our webinars, forums and conferences, which allow conservation professionals including researchers, Traditional Knowledge holders and practitioners to connect and build collaborations.

• Support conservation students to attend workshops, conferences or mentoring opportunities ($2,500 enables a Pacific Island student to attend an international conference).

• Support on-ground action, like the ecological restoration projects, events and awareness raising undertaken by our Chapters ($200 can help a local chapter to run a successful event).

• Support conservation nonprofit leadership ($500 enables specialist training for a volunteer board member to act as a Contact Officer during conferences & public events).

• Support our Policy Working Group to advocate for science-based decision making that affects conservation action at local, national, and international levels.
