We are excited to announce the call for nominations for our 2020 Oceania Distinguished Service Award.
SCB Oceania awards a Distinguished Service Award biennially to acknowledge an individual or institution who has made significant contributions to conservation biology within Oceania.
Nominations are now open and close on 14th February 2020. You may nominate yourself or someone else (including groups / institutions). The award will be presented at the next SCB Oceania Congress in Honolulu, Hawai’i (July 2020).
The Distinguished Service Award may be awarded to conservationists who either reside in the Oceania region or have directly contributed to conservation in the Oceania region. SCBO is committed to celebrating and supporting diversity, and to achieve this, we welcome award nominations from all career stages, all backgrounds, and all genders. We encourage more nominations from women and Pacific Islanders!
How to nominate
All nominations require a completed nomination form and two letters of recommendation. Please submit your nomination to awards@scboceania.org by February 14th 2020.
