Our member in the spotlight this week is Sam Dawson. Sam is in the final throws of her PhD at UNSW and has been an office bearer in the Sydney chapter of SCB. Sam has taken some time to tell us about her research, working with conservation managers and working with an active SCB chapter.

Our member in the spotlight this week is Jessica Walsh. Jessica’s paper “The effect of scientific evidence on conservation practitioners’ management decisions” won her the SCBO student publication award for 2015. Rebecca is a Commonwealth Scholar coming to the end of her PhD in interdisciplinary conservation and social-ecological systems at the Institute for Applied Ecology New Zealand, AUT University.
