Rachel is a social scientist located in Australia. She is interested in understanding stakeholder involvement in large-scale natural resource governance. Her PhD research identified barriers to and opportunities for increasing non-government stakeholder involvement in the governance of threats to marine migratory species. As a result, she is passionate about making environmental policy and management more accessible to and inclusive of diverse stakeholders.
She is also a member of the SCB Marine Section, SCB Oceania’s Policy Committee, the Student Committee for the Social Science Working Group, and several other boards in her local area.
