To celebrate National Science Week the Society for Conservation Biology UQ chapter is hosting a Science on Tap event at one of Brisbane’s staple bars, The Bearded Lady! Our topic of the evening is ‘human-nature connectedness’; the reasons behind why and how some people feel more connected to nature, the benefits this connection can provide for people, and how these ideas can help within the field of conservation.
Join us and our esteemed speakers for the night, Dr Richard Fuller, Dr Angela Dean, and Dr Kelly Fielding, as we explore this topic from both biological and social psychology perspectives.
