SCB Oceania have funds available to cover the registration fees for two Pacific Island members attending ICCB 2015 in Montpellier
SCBO are committed to helping our members attend regional and international conservation conferences. Whilst we really would have liked to provide support to get members from Oceania to Montpellier, the board discussed this at length, and found that the travel costs to Europe are beyond our budget.
We are however able to cover the registration fees only for two members who have abstracts accepted for the conference. If you do not have funds to attend in person, you can either arrange to have someone attending to present on your behalf, or we can help you to arrange to display a poster.
To be considered, please e-mail Rebecca by 12 noon AEST on May 7th and include:
– proof of abstract acceptance
– whether you are a student
– whether you have secured travel funds to attend the conference, will have someone to present on your behalf, or would send a poster
Applications will be reviewed by the SCBO Board, and awardees will be notified by 9am AEST on May 8th, to allow registration in the Early Bird window. Please note that if you have already registered for the conference, we can reimburse those costs.
